2 Thessalonians

2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, my brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
2Th 2:2 that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,
2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.

Comment:
In other words, after the falling away, spoken of here, it says the Day of Christ
[the Day of the Lord] WILL come.

Many church members now admit that the falling away HAS now occured. They can see that the man of sin HAS now been revealed. And he DID sit in the church --the "temple of God"-- after Mr. Armstrong died. It's said that this man, Joseph Tkach, Sr., died very painfully from cancer which riddled his body, and that he died exactly 40 weeks (40 is the Bible number that represents testing, judgement, and completion) to the hour after he gave a sermon putting himself in place of God by proclaiming, contrary to scripture, that the 7th. day Sabbath does not need to be observed.

Many in the church now realise this fulfilled the above prophecy, but still do not yet realise that we ARE now already INTO the beginning of the Day of the Lord, which follows soon after this event!
